KOSÉ Youthful Radiance Beauty Workshop

Advertorial

Was invited to KOSÉ Youthful Radiance Beauty Workshop which happened a few weeks back. If you remembered, I was at two of their previous events - Save the Blue Campaign and the launch of their new makeup series. This workshop was a combination of the two: makeup and skincare launch and...

Ariel Lin was there too :D :D :D

Because it is the summer season, so the Kose team has created a very beach-y look for the event to introduce their sunscreen and suncreen+bb products. In addition to getting skincare tips from Ariel Lin, there were other activities for the guests as well - sand art, express manicure, makeup session and a instabooth!

Unfortunately I was seated at the back, so I was not able to take clear pictures of Ariel. She still look as radiant and young as before - this is definitely due to the power of Kose products yesss???
A couple of lucky fans were also able to have interactions with her!
More high-quality/clearer pictures of the event from Kose here:

Was given a $40 voucher to spend at the event, so I bought the Sun Protect Essence Gel + Mask set ($64)
In addition to the voucher, the doorgifts include: Sekkesei Cleansing Cream, Sun Protect Essence Mask and Kose Softymo Powdersheet.

Had tried the Powdersheet and it is really powderfully powerful :D
The sheets are perfect for our hot and humid weather. Basically it comes in a wet-wipe form but when you wipe your sticky body with it, it turns into powder

WHAT SOCERY IS THIS?!

Ok but anyway, the new products were the suncreen products and since I have both the milk and gel version, here's a quick review from me!
The milk version is in liquid state as shown in the top left picture and the gel is in gel-cream state (bottom left photo) and the results (on bottom right)...

SAME LAH!
So which one should you choose then?
Personally I like the gel version more than the milk version because it is easier to control and absorbs faster into my skin (even though both versions were absorbed really quickly - the gel version won by about 2-3 seconds lolol).
Ariel was also saying that the gel version is better for our SG weather because it is lighter than the milk version. If you are going overseas during spring, autumn or winter, you may want to bring the milk version instead! Remember even though there is no strong sunlight, it doesn't mean that there is no UV radiation!!

Would also like to say that there was no sticky feeling after application of both gel and milk so this is really awesome because I HATE sticky after-feel on my fingers and face.

Oh oh, save the blue campaign is coming up again!!
I still kept the box from 2012 because Ariel signed on it *beams*
Remember to support Kose's campaign in saving our corals!
Don't know what the campaign is about?
