Staycation Surely?
I never get the concept of staycations, paying 3 digits for 2D1N in a hotel.
Of course I would be happy to be having one staycation for free loolol but not paid :P
Okay, I got ahead of myself, let's rewind.
This is more of a wordy entry because I didn't take any photos.
We went to Playnation for some group video fun and those are definitely not for public eye!
This is the second time I have been to the Scape branch. Initially I felt old going to Scape, but later, seeing so many ah beng/lians smoking =,= sheesh, I don't even understand why do people have to go through this phase. I never really understood it during my secondary schools years as well. Smoking, seriously? I can feel my lungs turning two shades of black walking past them.
ANYWAY.
Playnation opens still 3am! Great for those who can't sleep at night :P
They have such a cute website as well.
Rooms and equipment aren't obviously new and clean, but it is not too shabby.
Prices are decent, especially cheap on weekdays afternoon-evening. So if you have a day off, why not?
Of course, if you have the money to buy Wii, Xbox with Kinect together with all the games etc, then yes this is not THAT worth it.
It's really the time with your friends that makes this worth it. Laughing at each other's foolishness while playing the games was really priceless!
3am meant either nightrider or taxi. Neither sounds appealing to me since.. we have a free room at Orchard Parade Hotel yippee!! One of my friend's BIL has a free room. Apparently this was part of the perks working with the company. HAVING FREE HOTEL ROOM FOR 45 DAYS. What is this?
The bf exaggerated (as usual tsk) that it did not look like a hotel (it does), after his experience at a wedding dinner held there. Pft.
The room was really nice considering that it is not a five star hotel.
The bed was big enough for four :D
There was no bathtub though -,- but okayyyy I mean we have a shortage of water in Singapore anyway. The shower heads were good enough. I didn't want to step out from the bathroom.
Breakfast was... like crap though?

Bite-sized hashbrowns, bacon, egg were cold.
Selection was decent I guess, but if they are cold... pointless right?
There was also a long Q because there were too many guests? Anyway, we had to share tables with other guests, not ideal frankly speaking. This is actually the FIRST time, I experienced something like this.
I supposed if you want to do a staycation, have breakfast in bed next time?
Nonetheless, am really grateful for my friend and his BIL's generosity :D :D
