Curél Sebum Care range
Advertorial
I do not have a before-and-after photo because I did not have pimples or bumps when I received the products. However, my skin tends to break a little on a monthly basis (that's when I go for facial). This time, I am happy to note that there wasn't any big pimples or bumps after the application of the products. Whoopee :D
For peeps with sensitive skin, I know that it is very important to try the products before buying the full retail size.

The sun is always a good excuse for every single skincare product of my choice because of the multiple damages it does. This time round I have a new complain against the sun - it causes me to produce excessive sebum.
Besides the sun, other factors that caused me to produce more sebum are really 'junk' food and hormones. When you hear women complain about pimples during menses, hormones are one of the main culprits affecting sebum production. Some sebum is needed to prevent skin dryness, but excessive sebum will lead to acne!!!
I have normal skin (I think), only the T-zone get oily after a long day. Regardless, I was happy to receive a product that can help control sebum production. Introducing Curél Sebum Care range!!
Foaming wash ($19.50/150ml)
Lotion ($24.50/150ml)
Moisture gel ($34.90/120ml)
While I am focused on the sebum controlling power of these products, the range is actually best suited for people with oily AND sensitive skin. Personally, I think people with sensitive skin have very little choices and most skincare products cater either to sensitive OR acne-prone skin. Tackling sebum production is important to people with sensitive skin too because sebum can irritate the skin, worsening skin sensitivity.
Without further ado, the three products!
Not sure if you can appreciate the choice of using a foaming wash, but from what I can see, foaming wash is necessary because the soft foams will not irritate the already sensitive skin. Curél's foam is not only light, it also doesn't 'disappear' quickly, allowing you to have a proper wash. Normally one pump is enough for my face.
As for the lotion, I usually put it in the morning/ afternoon or before I go out of the house to help control sebum production while I am out. Thereafter, I use the gel at night and leave it overnight for maximum absorption. That way Curél protects me 24/7 :D The lotion takes a little more time to be absorbed, so pat your face gently to aid absorption.
Do use a cotton pad for application, if you want to use your hands, PLEASE WASH CLEANLY BEFORE APPLYING. If you only have 'troubled areas' at some parts of your skin (like in my case, the T-zone), apply the products there then!
Not sure if you can see from my pictures, but all three products come with a pump - this I like it a lot because the products wouldn't get contaminated easily and also much easier to apply. I usually use 1-2 pumps for my whole face. Do not apply too much though, otherwise your face will obviously be sticky.
