*blows cobwebs away*

Here's one review to distract you lol.

Finished watching Innocent Man (세상 어디에도 없는 착한 남자) a couple of weeks back.

by my picture choice you probably would understand why I chose to watch the show lol.
송중기 때문에!!
Because of Song Joong Ki lol.

This is when he was really innocent.

Synoposis
Smart and promising medical student Kang Ma-ru (Song Joong-ki) has been in love all his life with his slightly older next-door neighbor Han Jae-hee (Park Si-yeon), a television reporter. He is an adoring boyfriend and she always considered Ma-ru her home. But when her situation takes a turn for the worse and Jae-hee becomes desperate to escape poverty, she meets a man who changes everything—a rich CEO who introduces her to a life of comfort. So she turns her back on Ma-ru, choosing money over love.

The brutal betrayal leaves Ma-ru fractured—not just angry, but a completely changed man. A few years later, Ma-ru is now 30 years old and works as a bartender and gigolo, no longer a "nice guy."He then meets Seo Eun-gi (Moon Chae-won), a young chaebol heiress who's being groomed to take over her father's conglomerate. Eun-gi is cold and calculating, business-savvy, and raised by her father to never show emotion to anyone. But Ma-ru intrigues her, and she becomes curious until she can’t stop thinking about him.

Ma-ru decides to take advantage of her as a pawn in his plans for revenge, and Eun-gi falls in love with him, not knowing that he’s using her to get back at his ex Jae-hee, who happens to be Eun-gi's young, gold-digging stepmother. Just when Ma-ru is beginning to genuinely care for Eun-gi, she finds out the truth and they break up. But a car accident causes Eun-gi to lose her memory, and she enters Ma-ru's life again.

Sounds like a highly twisted, complicated relationship.
The whole show wouldn't have been possible if Maru did not save Jaehee from her desperate situation.
Personally I wouldn't have done that for anyone (watch the show to know what's that :P)

There were a lot of times I question Maru's decisions but every time the show 'replied' me with his love for Jae hee/Eun Gi, which makes everything look fake because it is rare that there is a love that great.
Most of the times though, I thought that he was being a retard lol.

This show is a melodrama, so it is not meant for people who cannot bear crying scenes, those 'you die, I die, we die' plots. It's exceptionally slow and has a long time frame of several years. The slowness of the show though, helped to develop the characters and the plot, but it is really a tad too slow. To make matters worse, so many shit were happening and like a classic korean show, there is memory loss, car accident, broken hearts. Wow. Squeezing all that in 20 episodes is tiring.

Ending wasn't particularly great, although understandable. Still, not an ending that I would like. Maybe you might.

I have watched Joong Ki's dramas since Obs & Gyn, really love his acting :D
oh yes, Running Man's Lee Gwang Soo, Joong Ki's friend is also in the show (acting as his friend)!
He bought quite a lot of entertainment to the show because of his exaggerated actions and of course I can't shake off his Running Man image.

This is definitely a must watch show for those who like Joong Ki and Gwang Soo :)

OKAY LA I PUT OTHER CASTS PICTURES LA.

Gwangsoo

Moon Chae Won

Park Shi Yeon
hated her so much in My Girl and now this show as well because she is always the evil woman lol.
Wasted right, she look so pretty!

Cannot resist :P

Oh yes, love the OST as well because the instrumental songs have some dark edge to them.
Two of my favourites!

Joong Ki also sang for the OST too
Can tell that he's not a singer though :X

Ok bye!
