Sydney Part II: Exhibitions

Whoops, such a long interval between part I and II -> I had to look back at what I have written lol.

Day II was acting tourists - we went to the Opera House (outside of course, budget tourists as we were), Sydney Aquarium and Madame Tussauds. Like I said in the first part, you can get a combo ticket and it saves you $. The aquarium and Madame Tussauds open till late too, so you don't have to worry about the closing time.

Rise and shine everybody!
Pardon the poor pictures taken at the bridge/opera house. We had a long day yesterday so I told my family to sleep in a little and... we reached the place around 11-12pm.

We took the free shuttle to Circular Quay.
Like Perth, Sydney has a free shuttle bus within the CBD region.
Personally I think we should have it too, one that runs from Tanjong Pagar to Douby or something, but then what would the POOR transport operators earn right?
We can't leave them with lower profits (despite the breakdown, the squeezy trains and the bus that doesn't seem to come) right?

Back to happier moments....

Nearly got myself blinded while trying to take these photos.
The sun was so glaring!!
Mom had to shelter my eyes too lol.

The Opera House is linked to the Royal Botanics Garden
unfortunately the place is so big, so we didn't have the time to explore everything.

Like some plant on a biology reference book.

It's not really the flowering season yet, we were about a couple of weeks early I think, but still nice flowers~

And then we went over to Darling Habour via the CBD free shuttle and then the monorail
It is a little out of the way, I suppose you can walk, but we were (ok they were) a little tired from walking so we took the monorail.

here's me frowning because one ride (regardless of where you stop) cost AUD5. @#$#@%$@#%
Dad decided that we should take a round full trip before dropping off at Darling Habour just so we can get our $ "worth".

What I like about this place is that their tourist attractions are situated next to each other.
I  mean we have to go to Sentosa to see fish and then back to Mandai to see animals. Obviously we can't do things like them since we are so small :(

This is not my 1st time visiting Madame Tussauds, it came to SG when I was 12 and I remembered taking photos with LKY. I thoroughly enjoyed myself back then, so I was hoping that I (and we would) enjoyed it this time round too.

Lone koala trying to entice people to go into the zoo.
We were quite lucky to catch it awake. They sleep for like 18 hours a day?

Here's me with Captain James Cook

Nelson Mandela in front of China's backdrop lol.
John Howard

Do I really have to identify these two?
Btw, President Obama and Nelson Mandela were really tall jeez!

Fulfilling our dreams to be in a rock n' roll band

Two very smart individuals standing together.

most of the people in the museum are famous Australians, so obviously I didn't really know them. The fun began when we were nearing the end because that's where all the Hollywood stars were (I didn't step into the Bollywood section).

My favourite VS model!

And then we were off to the aquarium!

Here's Pororo saying hi

While his chingu(s) ignored us totally.

Octopus saying hi too.

Shark was busy being nasty and no say hi.

Great Barrier Reef

We sat before this huge aquarium space to...

Decide what fish to eat.

in the end it was the poor salmon.
LOL. No seriously though, the aquarium didn't really changed much from 12 years ago.
It was the most disappointing section out of our combo passes.

Nevertheless, I bought Splash from the aquarium and gave him to my BF
