Love Rain 사랑비

I watched this show after 'Rooftop Prince' ended. 

I chose this show because Jang Geun Seok (장근석, JKS) was in it, despite news of poor ratings. 

JKS has previously acted in a couple of shows that I liked, not least the hit ' You are beautiful  미남이시네요 which I also blogged about before (I think). 

So anyway I didn't like this show, because it was too slow for me. 

I am just going to pic spam you instead. 

JKS (character name: In Ha) in the 70's was an artist, introverted but has a couple of good friends. 

He fell in love with Yoon Hee, played by SNSD's Yoona (임윤아) who was also a reserved person.

So you see that's the problem in the 70's because when both people are quiet, they don't tell each other how they feel... that's how the starting became really draggy (you know... that classic 'want to say, don't want to say' thingy). 

Frankly I almost gave up at episode 2, but for JKS's sake... 

Because of JKS's shyness, his friend who liked Yoona later than him was together with Yoona for a short while and then... please go and watch :P

Fast forward to 2012, JKS is now old (obviously)

Now this guy is the second reason why I continued to watch the show.

In Ha was played by Jeong Jin Yeong (정진영) -was one of the key actor in Brain (yes that neurosurgery show which I liked).

And I liked his acting so yes, I continued to watch the show. 

He managed to meet up with the old Yoona (Yoon Hee played by Lee Mi Seok, 이미숙)

and they fell in love again. 

Their children also fell in love with each other. (JKS = Seo Jun, Yoona = Ha Na)

This time round their kids were not like them in terms of their personality

So the story ended differently for these 2 people. As for the ending... go and watch yourself :P  

So the show was really boring.

It revolved around the hatred from 1 woman whose picture I cannot be bothered to find. 

She knows that In Ha loves Yoon Hee a lot but insists on marrying him. 

And then complained on and on about how he didn't play his part as a husband and a father. 

Then he finally found Yoon Hee and fell in love again in 2012

She whined on and on about how she don't mind him remarrying so long that person is not to Yoon Hee.

Bitch please. 

Then when Seo Jun and Ha Na fell in love

she obviously went crazy.

She saw it as a repeat of the past.

She saw it as Ha Na snatching Seo Jun away from her just like how Yoon Hee snatched In Ha away. 

Another thing, 

I don't understand why can't both Yoon Hee-In Ha, Ha Na-Seo Jun love at the same time. 

Maybe it is the Korean culture I don't know.

1 family cannot have 2 couples meh ?

It's not like these are incest or something. 

Then each of these couple start to give up their own relationship, and failed to do so.

All that dilly dally. 

So yes, there will be no show if not for that bitch who cannot seem to think straight and also the thingy about the relationship stuff. 

Popcorn rating ?

Cast: 9/10 (because my favourite actors/actress are inside)

Plot: 6/10 

Overall: 6.5/10

It's too slow and draggy!!

And too many people liking Ha Na.

It's was really quite torturous watching the show on the train.

Normally the train ride takes about 40min

but with the show, it feels like a 2 hour train ride.

So this show is suitable for people who are

• obviously fans of SNSD and JKS
• who don't mind slow shows

That's it, I can't think of anyone who will like this show.
