I DID IT.. AGAIN!

12:03 AM
Still can't contain my excitement when I see the PDF.
Round trip to Syndey at 293 WTF?!
Let's hope it's not as bad as Jetstar

I was really rather impulsive (I prefer the word spontaneous), because the fare was so cheap.
(even though I said I wasn't able to go for a trip, because Ipad will cost me)

BUT IT'S TOO CHEAP!!

Besides, it's Australia!!!
*inhales, exhales, inhales, exhales*

Sidetrack, I think we do need a bit of spontaneity in life.
Sure, we have loads of things we are saving up for: car, house, food, insurance and the yada yada but life isn't all about working and saving and spending on things you can already predict you are spending on.

Sure we need the cash when we are old and dying of diseases.
Oh wait, hold that thought.
Why spend my money on my own death?
Ok this is getting morbid.

Anyway my point is spend! It's not like you wouldn't earn back, it's not like you are throwing away 6 months of salary for one trip. It's not like you wouldn't have any savings left even if you throw away 6 months of salary for a trip.

Yes I am talking about you and you and you who refuses to spend and make people around you mad and miserable.

Most of all, I am talking about my dearest boyfriend who seems to have fallen into that category.
Don't get me wrong, I am perfectly fine with finding my way around Sydney. I just get mad that his brain just treats anything more than $100 expensive. Le sigh.

Worry about being cash-strapped when you have 2 kids on your shoulders and one on the way.
Worry about this when you are old and irrelevant and people in the office wants to throw your chair away.

Like everything else in life, there is time for all your little worries at different phases in life.
Surely you didn't worry about buying a house when you are in kindergarten?* Or thought about writing a will in primary school?* Or even fear how to be a parent in secondary school?*

Where is the fun in life ?

*disclaimer: I am talking about average (and not overly-intelligent) human beings and also those who didn't f-ed up their lives (like literally)
