[review] Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel

Advertorial

The weather in Singapore has been absolutely crazy these days, hitting 34- 35 degree Celsius. It makes one so lethargic and so afraid to get out of the house. I actually avoided going out during afternoons because it was simply so hot!

The strong heat also reminded me that my sunscreen supply is running low and there is no way I will leave my house without it.  Samplestore heard my woes apparently, because I was sent the new Biore sunscreen!

popiah Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel review singapore

Biore products have become a staple in my skincare routine. In addition to sunscreen, I am also using its makeup jelly remover and cleanser. For sunscreen, I am using the one on the right at the moment and I was given the one on the left.

Can you spot the most important difference between the two ?
Introducing...

BIORÉ UV AQUA RICH WATERY GEL SPF50+ PA++++

Yes, the most important difference is actually the additional + behind the PA.
Basically there are two types of harmful UV rays - UVA and UVB
UVB causes damages to the outer layer of skin while UVA penetrates deeper into skin layers destroying our skin omg! With an addition +, we are then even better protected against UVA rays!

P/S the bottle on the right has also recently gone through a revamp, now it has protection up to PA++++ too!

There is essentially no difference between the two hands - that is what I wanted to show. My past experiences with sunscreens have been bad, because they either smell like 'swimming pool' or they are sticky or they refused to be absorbed. Biore's version has none of these, it smells nice, it is not thick, it gets absorbed quickly and is non-sticky. What these means for us girls is that we do not need to wait for a long time for our sunscreen to dry before apply our makeup - suitable for everyday use! danbo with Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel

The droplet on the left is the new sunscreen, the one on the right is my current one.
I am equally happy using either product, it is just that the water gel has a slightly more brightening effect so if I am ever late for work I could just use it with some eyeliner and eyebrow application and I will be good to go!

This product is available at all leading pharmacies, supermarkets, department and beauty stores for SGD18.90

Remember to protect your skin against the harmful sun rays!

    1. the formulation of this is much lighter than the traditional sort of sunscreen so I would say this is good for oily skin too :)
