The 30 Something

Me: 我觉得30+的男人很帅。
Bf Good for you lor.
Me: 为什么?
Bf: 因为我快要30岁了 Me: -.-|||

I will come back to the above shortly lol.

Wanted to blog about the show after I finished watching it.
Technically I knew the ending already = finished = let's blog!

유령 or Phantom or Ghost
That's about every main character in the show, can you spot who is the bad guy?

Kim Woo-Hyun (starring So Ji-Sub) is the only son of a high ranking police officer. Woo-Hyun entered the police academy ranked first and graduated from the academy ranked first. As a detective, he then joins the cyber investigation department. Woo-Hyun then works to reveal the secrets of those that hide within the cyber world.

Except... it is not Woo-Hyun?
but his best friend Park Gi-Young?

The screenwriter for the show,  Kim Eun-Hee also wrote the plot for Sign, one of my favourite forensics science drama that ended with a twist which till today I refused to accept.

Sign was a rather simple show in that there were many small cases (deaths) to solve while at the same time the team was also thinking about the bigger case which haunted them since Episode 1.

In contrast Phantom revolves mainly on one case that involved loads of important figure, loads of hackers. The show is exceptionally appropriate given that South Korea is highly wired and is one of the first countries in Asia that is already using the 4G network since last year (reminder: 4G penetration is like crap at the moment in SG). While the show contemplated on the severe consequences that can happen in times of cyber security breaches, it is highly unlikely that these breaches will occur because it's quite obvious who the criminals are lol. Still it does show that when we grow too reliant on technology, loads of things can be destroyed or stolen since we don't really have an alternate network as safety net.

The plot of the show was carefully structured and held several elements of surprise unlike Sign. It was a carefully thought-out story. Unfortunately because I am not a IT person, I wasn't able to see if there is any error. Like e.g. Ashyura told me that in 'Golden Time' another medical drama, the doctors didn't wore gloves. LOL. Ok THAT I can detect, but I haven't watch the show yet.

I am quite sick of romance-ish, bimbotic, light hearted shows which was why this show was a nice change. It's quite difficult to find sophisticated, intellectual shows like these since it requires deep thinking unlike a bimbotic drama where a happily ever transcends all nonsense in the show.  (am implying that I am intellectual :P)

After watching this show, my ratings for the previous few drama seems very lenient
Nevermind! There is no benchmark at the moment so
9/10!!
BUT since this is 9/10 then Sign is probably 7/10 because it is more routine (crime occur, dead body, solve crime).

Be warned though, there are a few dead bodies with eyes opened and also a 'ghost' in the initial few episodes, if you are scared then er don't watch at night lol. I mean I got scared in a train full of people ok. LOL.

Ok now back to my 30 something.
The reason I mentioned that was because this was what I feel after watching Phantom and as I start 'Time Slip Dr. Jin'. I still cannot fantom why these 30 somethings guys look way suave and cooler than the 20 something guys. Something made them mature, but I don't know what. Felt a tinge of sadness because it's a downhill slope for women but not men! Unfair!!

Here are my 30 somethings love :D
Apparently all of them have short hair ^.^

Main actor for the show! So Ji Sub

Time Slip Dr. Jin/ My Princess Lead Actor - Song Seung Hun

Midas Lead Actor - Jang Hyuk

Singer - Kim Jong Kook
